The work is a hybrid UV and daylight piece, so at certain intervals you can see blue glowing LED style awesomeness in the centre of the paint. Wolf's Bodymagic also made the Steampunk Props, did the conceptualisation as well as the body paint here.

One Painter (Wolf Reicherter), one Assistant, one Model (Naraku, one of the best LARPers in the world!), one MakeUp Artist (Nadine Klump), two Photografers (Arpad Ikuma and Ondro), one additional model (Andrea Heuser), two producers, a two man camera team and a janitor(!) It was a fun thing and the biggest entourage ever on the road for Wolf´s BodyMagic. Wolf's specialty is the robotic form and it's extremely well executed here with a high attention to detail. The colours used were water based high quality bodypaint applied directly to naked skin. Combining the elements of a popular and well loved Sci Fi Genre with the beauty of bodypainting in a never before seen piece. (Video also used with EXPRESS permission from SWR).

This is especially prevalent here with the retrofuturistic nature of this piece, the bold lines being in place both on a Sci Fi movie and on a tribal battleground.Īndro Ovesny was the Photographer and the model, Lena Wolf strives to create pieces of Body art that are both a nod to the primitive starting points of Bodypainting, the oldest art form in the world, while being effortlessly modern in his approach. Here, he is using the curves of the body to create a fluid yet structured piece. Here he takes his passion for Sci Fi, Fantasy, TRON, Star Wars and Dynamic lines to a whole new level, creating his signature piece, a beautiful sorceress, using his signature colours Red, white and black. This was completed for SWR Landesschau, a German TV station doing a special on Wolf's Bodymagic, our bodypainting partner. Watch the creation of The Red Sorceress by Wolf, from conception, to photography, to it being washed off in the shower! en/gallery/daylight.htmlįor more bodyart that's updated regularly:
